Preparation
Separate the safety pants from other items you'll be washing, especially if it is made from polyester or parka material. This prevents the color from bleeding into other clothes, too. Inspect the pockets to take out loose change, keys, or other small items. Turn it inside out before washing, so you can protect the color.
Washing
Polyester safety pants don't usually suffer from dirt buildup, so you can run these in the washing machine's regular cycle using cold water. Make sure to use the right water temperature when washing them, since hot water can shrink it. This is especially true if they are made from polyester. If they were made from parka material, put the washer on the gentle cycle and run the machine with cold water because using hot water can damage it.
Drying
