12 Ways To Get Insanely Creative With Postcards
Sometimes just sending the average postcard doesn't quite cut it. You want to be a bit more inventive and a bit more outrageous so everyone knows exactly who YOU are and what you stand for. You can do this with postcards. You just need to be a little creative about it. Here's 12 ways to start right now:
1. Choose any name and address in the phone book and send a beautiful postcard to them with friendly greetings from wherever you happen to be at the time.
2. Turn any one of your photos into a postcard and send it to everyone in your address book.
3. Send a Christmas or birthday greetings card to people you know even if it's not Christmas or no one is having a birthday.
4. Send a postcard to yourself when you're overseas or in a new state or location - just to see how the people around you will react when they see who it is from.
5. Send a postcard to yourself just because it has a great photo on it, a particularly impressive design, or a terrific stamp you'd like to collect.
6. Send a postcard with a quality picture of what you want on it (new Porsche 911 for example) to your family and friends with words suggesting this is what I want.
7. Send a postcard to all your business associates with a beautiful tropical beach photo on it with the words 'wish you were here' (even though you may not be!)
8. Post a 'I love you' romantic styled postcard to your girlfriend or boyfriend (wife or husband if that's the case).
9. Post an over-sized postcard with a powerful photo on it to your mates (or girlfriends) telling them what you're up to this time.
10. Leave your favourite postcard wherever you go and in every hotel, home or resort you stay in, as a friendly goodbye gift.
11. Print up a postcard of yourself (make sure it's flattering) and send it to your friends for a friendly and lighthearted moment.
12. Take (or find) a really funny photo, stick it on a postcard and mail it to everyone in your address book. (Make sure it's appropriately funny though!)
