Women's Retailer of the Year is Awarded to Hansen Surfboards by the Surf Industry Manufacturer Association.

The Surf Industry Manufacturer Association (SIMA) has just awarded Hansen Surfboards Women's Retailer of The Year at its Image Awards. The award was judged by industry peers and honors the best of the surf industry for 2010.

As the only awards program of its kind, the SIMA Image Awards identify the surf industry's most influential companies and recognize them for their efforts to advance and grow the industry over the past year.

"This is a great honor for us, especially now, as we're celebrating our 50th anniversary this year and women's clothing has grown to become a vital part of our business throughout the years," said Josh Hansen. Not only are we a surf shop, but even have snow gear, skate gear, swimwear, casual wear and trendier attire for males and females of all ages. We feature watches, accessories, jewelry, scarves, hats and home décor. We even have a specific childrens section. We work hard to have something for everyone.  In our Women's section, you are sure to find all the most current fashions.  We carry a large choice of island wear and casual attire. We also have bikinis and one-piece swimsuits from all the most well liked brands.  Our women's swimwear section covers about a third of the women's area between February and September, so regardless of your shape or size, you are sure to find a swimsuit at Hansen's that makes you feel beautiful!"

Hansen Surfboards' women's line includes swimwear, beachwear, casual wear and dresses. Women's swimwear and sportswear brands include Luli Fama, LSpace, Vix, Vitamin A, Billabong, Body Glove, Roxy, Volcom, Rip Curl, O'Neill, Hurley, Quicksilver and others. The retailer also provides an extensive offering of shoes with a specific room featuring over 6,000 pairs of sandals.  During the fall/holiday season, they also carry a huge selection of Ugg sheepskin boots.
