Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Dolce & Gabbana, Prada, etc., - all great designers of men's attire, ALL for guys who have lots of excess money to spend (or for those guys with an empty charge card)! That's great for all of those guys, but what about the guys who still want to look great and "fashion forward", but who simply just don't make enough of the green stuff to afford it??? Do they have to suffer and dress less than??? NO! The good news is, it's still possible to look great at affordable prices!

Regardless of where your budget lies, you can get stylish clothes at a variety of stores - both on-line, and at the malls/shopping centers. You can find sexy, fashionable clothes at all price points. For example, your local Target (please pronounce it with the French flair "Targe") offers a very affordable line of jeans, t's, swimsuits and even sexy underwear. Their Merona line offers underwear with mesh sides, which are sure to improve any guys' sex appeal (at rock bottom prices)!

For the guy who wants to jump up a notch or two, stores such as Macys, The Gap, Old Navy, Century 21, Daffy Dans, and Burlington Coat Factory are a good option. All of these stores offer fashionable attire at reasonable prices, depending on what look you're going for. Of course if you find a sale day or use a coupon (especially at Macys), that's another way to save on your wardrobe.

Abercrombie and Hollister are a jump up from the other stores and can tend to offer more "hip" clothes, but be prepared to pay more. Typically you won't find any bargains.

Diesel and Hugo Boss will offer a more "modern" look and Diesel has a great variety of jeans but typically you have to be in pretty good shape to wear Diesel and Hugo Boss because they tend to design their clothes for the slim guys.

Above this price point are such stores as Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus (a/k/a "needless mark-up"). At Nordstrom you can find cool clothes in the department they call "The Rail". They offer jeans and t-s, swimsuits and dress shirts at more affordable prices than at Neiman Marcus, but they're still expensive compared to Macys or Old Navy, etc.

If you have somewhat of a budget, a good idea is to spend the majority of your money on a good pair of sexy jeans (say from Deisel). Nothing looks more attractive than a really nice pair of jeans that fit you like a glove. Then, spend the rest of your money at a "budget" store on t's, shorts, etc.

Whatever you can afford, just remember to buy clothes that are your size! A lot of guys are stuck on a certain waist size or shirt size and they find something they like and if it doesn't fit right they refuse to try on a size larger! Don't do this to yourself. You'll actually look better in clothes that fit you and hang "right" on your body. After all, you want to look as good and sexy as possible in your clothes, so buy clothes that are age appropriate and that are the correct size for your body.

As far as swimsuits go, please don't wear a Speedo or thong in public if you're not in great shape! Again, you want to wear a swimsuit that flatters your body so you'll look more attractive. A good idea is to try on your swimsuit from last season and give yourself an honest look in the mirror. If it still looks great, then you're in luck. If it doesn't fit you anymore, or if you want a different look, donate it, and find a swimsuit that does flatter you.

As author of "Grooming Secrets For Men" I can't help but remind you that since we're talking about summer, make sure to use a sun block that blocks both UVA and UVB rays. Remember to re-apply it after a few hours and especially if you go swimming. If you have thinning hair or are bald, make sure to use the sun bock on top of your head, your ears and back of your neck as well.

Let's not forget about your feet!. Pretty much we all wear some type of sandal or flip-flop during the summer months (or all year 'round if you live in a warm climate). Keep your feet well groomed. Give yourself, or go get a pedicure so that your feet will look great. At the very least, make sure your toenails are trimmed and clean.

Whatever you decide to wear any time of the year keep in mind that you can put together a great looking "look" without breaking your bank and without compromising style.
