What is Remis Power Systems doing to help you "Go Green"?

Here are the steps that each battery goes through to finish its life cycle:

Step 1: Used, worn-out batteries are collected by East Penn trucks as new batteries are delivered.

Step 2: Used batteries are stored inside waiting for processing.

Step 3: Used batteries are safely broken and separated into lead, sulfuric acid and plastic.

Step 4: Lead is safely reclaimed in our secondary smelter and refinery with no harmful emissions.

Step 5: Sulfur fumes are trapped and processed into liquid fertilizer.

Step 6: Sulfuric acid is reclaimed in the industry's first acid reclamation plant under a patented process.

Step 7: Used plastic is reclaimed and molded into new parts for batteries and accessories.

Step 8: Reclaimed lead, plastic and sulfuric acid are used in the production of all types of new batteries and accessories.
