Japanese automotive company Honda has finally declared that the present model of Honda Civic will no longer be in the market, they will step forward with the next generation Honda Civic (codename 2HC) as and when the remaining inventory runs out. No doubt Honda will come with upgraded model and will seek ahead with the next generation model. This next generation Honda Civic is expected to lead the India market next year. Honda is presently looking ahead to prepare the 2CV or Honda Brio to groove the Indian market. Honda Brio will be showcased on 30, November ,2010 at the Thailand Motor Show.The sales figures for Honda Cars have been dominating in the Indian market and a march towards the next generation Honda Civic can make these figures more impressive statistically. The unique selling proposition of Honda Civic next generation will not be its looks, but its well equipped and futuristic interiors which are inspired from CR-Z. Civic will also get the hybrid powertrain. This is the same powertrain which has been used in CR-Z wherein a 1.5 litre petrol engine is paired with Honda's Intergrated Motor Assist. This hybrid can be brought with either an automatic or a manual transmission. Honda Civic is also expected to come in the diesel variants according to the past reports. Presently Honda manufactures petrol vehicles and they will be a step ahead in the auto industry when they will come with their diesel variants. Demand for the diesel vehicles is mounting up day by day and in this tough competitive market this can be a big milestone for Honda Motors. Honda's one of the best selling Sports Utility Vehicle(SUV) Honda CR-V is expected to launch in diesel variant around the year 2012.
