Cartier Love Day

June 26, 2009 is the fourth Cartier Love Day. The Cartier Love Day, originated in 2006, is an annual charity activity all over the world aiming at the blazoning forth the theme "How far would you go for love?" This year, Cartier invited many artists to create love e-card of their own.

All the e-cards are of completely different styles. It is just the same as expressing love in various ways. Though is the universal language, different people have different understandings. The e-cards invented by the artists then were put on to the web as presents to the fans. In the highly developed society where everyone is living with a fast pace, the well-designed present seems rather precious. Fans can sign their names on the cards through Internet. This year, Cartier Love Day wants to tell people that love has various meanings and it can be presented in numerous ways.

In 1969, Cartier created the legendary Cartier Love bangle. It was really unique because of the special design of screw that can only be opened by the screw driver owned by the lover.
