All you will get is the serenity and quietude of the surroundings plus a wealth of history, primeval settlements and nature. Goings-on which you can take advantage of are walking, fishing, croquet, boules, golfing and petanque. At the park's entrance is a conventional pub.

Billabong Lakeside Watersports and Caravan Park is situated in the serene countryside of East Yorkshire. Twenty-two acres of field is home for campers with electric hook-up pitches and pleasant panoramas overlooking the lake while you take it easy, unwind and take pleasure in watching watersports activities. Accessible from March 1st to October 31st are seasonal pitches. Other facilities offered are a central toilet block that has a toilet and shower, washing up area and laundry room. Children are provided with a playground that has slides and swings. On the veranda is a café where you and your family or friends can have tea and snacks. From there is a view of the 11-acre crystal lucid lake.

Another site that offers a quaint, charming and serene atmosphere is the Holme Valley Camping and Caravan Park. It is located in the core of the "Summer Wine' Country, nearby the Peak District. Bordered by meadows and woodland, Holme Valley Camping and Caravan Park only takes a 5-minute trek from Thongsbridge village with trains, buses and pub food. The caravan pitches are with a 16-amp hook-up. A play area is designated for children as well as a food shop completely stocked up with food and off-licence.

You will not be able to contain your excitement traveling to Yorkshire in a campervan. It is just fantastic to wake up each day and see the countryside, a lake, ravine or a forest. It will truly be a best holiday you and one you and your family won't forget in a hurry.
