While the trusty old denim duds have been a wardrobe staple for men for many years, there has been a lot of change in the options available.  While some lads tend to have a pair of "old faithfuls" in their closest, there are some fantastic new styles, colours and details that take jeans to a whole new level in men's fashion.

Washes and Colours

Styles and Cut

When you walk into a store or go online to look for jeans, you'll undoubtedly be bombarded with more styles of than you've ever seen before.  Some of these may include:

• Skinny leg – often gives off the "rocker" look and worn very fitted
• Straight leg – suits a range of different look and body types
• Boot cut – also a safe option when unsure which style will suit you
• Classic cut – loose fitting, super comfy and quite casual

To get the best fit jeans for your lifestyle and needs, take the time to try on a few different pairs.  If you find some jeans that fit really well and are very comfortable, consider buying a second pair as a backup.  That way, when you've worn out your favourites, you'll not have to worry about scouring the shops to find them again for a while.  Another great shopping tip is to log onto the internet – there are some fantastic online stores that offer a wide selection, great deals and the ability to compare styles, all with the click of a mouse.
