Plus size clothing is a general term used to describe clothing that comes in larger sizes for larger people. In department stores however plus size clothing isn't always that easy to find. If you're a larger woman, next time you're out shopping for clothes take a good look at the difference between the styles offered in the womens department and the plus size womens department. What exactly happens between sizes 14-16 (also known as the borderline between plus size and, dare I say it, "normal") that makes the designers think that all bigger women want to walk around wearing flowery tents? Do clothing manufacturers really think that as soon as you reach a certain size you suddenly turn into a blob?
